Hello and welcome! I'm Alice Pantelios, a licensed counsellor and psychotherapist with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's complexities and finding their paths to healing and growth.

After spending several years working in corporate environments, I found myself feeling unfulfilled and driven by a deep curiosity about human behaviour. This motivated me to make the bold decision of returning to university and pursuing my studies in psychology. My journey in the field of mental health started with a deep desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with diverse individuals facing a wide range of challenges in hospital and private clinic settings. From anxiety and depression to relationship issues and life transitions, every person's story has enriched my understanding of the human experience.

My Approach

I provide a personalised approach to therapy. Each person is unique, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution. My work is guided by evidence based practice, drawing on techniques from cognitive behavioural therapy, emotion focused, psychodynamic and systemic therapies. My training in these approaches allows me to provide tailored therapy that suits your specific needs.

My role is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space where you can openly express your thoughts, feelings, and explore new perspectives on your difficulties with someone who is trained to help you.

Education and Credentials

I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University and I am licensed by the Ordre des Conseillers et Conselleilères du Quebec. Additionally, I hold a psychotherapy permit with the Ordre des Psychologues du Quebec. I continue to stay updated with the latest research and therapeutic approaches to ensure I provide you with the best possible care.
